Epilepsy Council of Malaysia

The Epilepsy Council of Malaysia (ECM) is a subspeciality chapter of the Malaysian Society of Neurosciences. It was established in February 2002 to complement the activities and out-reach programs organized by the Malaysian Epilepsy Society (Persatuan Epilepsi Malaysia).

This subspeciality is focused on improving guidelines and policies associated with epilepsy management and care throughout Malaysia. Prof. Dato' Dr. Raymond Azman Ali, a senior consultant neurologist, has been the Chairman of the Malaysian Epilepsy Council since 2002 and together with the rest of the council members comprised of neurologists and researchers, they aim to improve the lives of people with epilepsy in Malaysia.
