CHILD NEUROLOGY | | | | Child Neurology | | | The Chapter of Child Neurology and Developmental Paediatrics was formed in November 2002 to promote paediatric neurology in Malaysia. The committee consists of a chairman, secretary, treasurer and two other committee members. The AOCNA delegate will automatically be one of the committee members of the chapter. The committee is elected every 2 years in tandem with the MSN election. One member within the committee will be appointed to represent the chapter in the MSN council.
Membership of MSN is a prerequisite in order to be a member of the chapter. All child neurologists currently practicing in Malaysia are member of MSN and are therefore members of the chapter. Other MSN members who are interested in paediatric neurology are encouraged to join the group, and associate membership will be considered for professionals from specialties which are related to paediatric neurology.
Janssen-Cilag currently provides secretarial support for the chapter. This will be reviewed every two years with the change of committee.
